Plant Paradise differs from crop to crop. They all have different needs. To get to know the needs of a crop, we ‘ask’ the  plants what they like and dislike; we call this the Emancipation of the Plant.

The Plant Paradise specs of a single crop are put together as a Plant ID, the identity of a crop. Once we have made a Plant ID for a product, let us say tomato, lettuce or cucumber, we are able to make endless amounts of different Growing Recipes. These Growing Recipes are literally the recipe for growing a crop in such a specific way that the outcome, the yield, exactly matches with your goals.

A Growing Recipe is a package of set points for a period of time, put on a Flash Card or to be uploaded over the internet. You push START and the Growing Recipe creates Plant Paradise. You will harvest the programmed quality and quantity on the ‘estimated time of arrival’.

Putting your Plant Paradise together

Once you have your Plant Paradise Plan agreed on, we start preparing building the Plant Production Unit. Thecustomized Plant Paradise Construction Team takes care of the coordination.

• PlantLab supplies you with the unique PlantLab Operating System, the ‘brain’ of a Unit, fit for executing your Growing Recipes.
• Our technical partner delivers a SKID, the running heart of a Plant Production Unit. The SKID contains the Central Processing Unit (CPU), HVAC, sensors, air socks and units for water treatment, dosing nutrients, irrigation and drain water disinfection. [more …]

Continuing Technical Care

In order to keep your Plant Production Unit in an optimal technical condition, we suggest you opt for SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) with your different specific installers. The Plant Paradise Construction Team will assist you.

Part of the SLA can be that your technical partners get an alert the moment something goes wrong in your Plant Production Unit. They get the opportunity to start a technical diagnosis over the Internet by connecting with your PlantLab OS.

Continuing Green Care

PlantLab is well equipped to take care of the total Green Support. This may include training of your staff and specialists locally or at PlantLab in The Netherlands.

Other options are assisting you in ongoing R&D inorder to improve your Growing Recipes (on site  or outsourced at PlantLab), long distance assistance (by connecting with your local PlantLab OS over  the internet, by using a Password) or checking your Growing Recipes and progress in the crops you are growing but also consulting and coaching on the job.
